| __ Hypertec is today announcing an out of the box solution pilot with BeCrypt, a leading supplier of data security solutions, for the public sector that meets the demands of the new code of connection COCO . This comes in time for all local government authorities LGA including NHS, Education and MoD sectors to meet the Government Connect Secure Network GCSx COCO requirements by 31 March 2009.
The new COCO GCSx is a list of security controls that local authorities need to be compliant with in order to be connected to the Central Government accredited network, Government Connect. GCSx is a managed network that will enable secure interactions between English and Welsh local authorities, central government, the NHS, the Scottish local authorities and the Criminal Justice Communities.
Hypertec is offering a special 45 day evaluation price on its package of solution based products to local authorities to enable them to attain an approved standard of security before being able to connect to the clean network COCO . Together with BeCrypt it is offering its range of hardware encrypted storage devices and endpoint control measures along with trusted client analysis and installation support.
