Tom Braund will describe a solution to an important issue that afflicts many enterprises, the natural tension that often exists between short- and long-term business goals. This may be reconciled, he will argue, through a practical application of strategic architecture governance.

He will advocate practical methods, including how to adequately define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision to all stakeholders, ensuring that architecture decision-making is consistent, aligned, and visible to all concerned. Tom Braund will make his presentation in the Guest Executive Forum, taking place on Thursday, February 26, 15:10 - 15:40pm.

Tom Braund is currently working as an enterprise architect for Co-operative Financial Services in Manchester, and has been responsible for defining governance processes and tools for controlling enterprise architecture across projects and large programmes of change.
