snom to showcase VoIP solutions portfolio, from home office to call centre

Berlin, January 26, 2009 - snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP VoIP telephones, will showcase the world s first VoIP telephone to use a touchscreen display with drag-and-drop function: the snom 870 at CeBIT Hall 13, C 42 from March 3 to 8, 2009. The drag-and-drop touchscreen featured in the snom 870 model is highly intuitive. With one finger, the user can connect calls and set up telephone conferences simply by dragging and dropping the respective buttons in the display of the snom 870.

In addition, snom will be exhibiting its entire, extensive product suite for VoIP telephony at CeBIT 2009. A further highlight will be the MeetingPoint model, snom s first VoIP conference telephone.

At the snom booth the Berlin-based VoIP specialist will, together with its partners Addix, Escaux Vertico Software and CREALOGIX Communication offer a comprehensive overview of the full range of possible applications for snom VoIP telephony including:
cost-effective solutions for home office use,
professional VoIP terminal devices with all the business functions for mid-sized and larger firms
sophisticated communication systems for large companies and call centres.

Furthermore, Computer Telephony Integration snom Flexor CTI developed for snom by UK software specialist Camrivox will also be demonstrated on the snom stand.

Security, which has always been a central strength of all snom product developments will be a major topic in Hanover. External security experts will be on hand at the snom booth to answer any questions visitors may have regarding security and data protection in VoIP telephony.
